The Clytha Arms is an award-winning, relaxed country pub near Abergavenny, family-run by Andrew, Bev, Sarah, and Roger. Celebrating over 30 years of hospitality, we were named Gwent’s Country Pub of the Year 2025 and have spent nearly 30 years in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide.

We have a bar and lounge with log fires, a 60-seat restaurant and function room for birthdays or other special events. Our menu features bar snacks, tapas, and full three-course Sunday lunches with an extensive wine list.

For overnight visitors, the pub offers three en-suite rooms (including a four-poster room) and free overnight camper van parking for dining guests. Set within two acres of gardens near Raglan Castle, it is an ideal base for local walking, cycling, golf, and fishing.
